This Operate a Roller course is designed for both novice and experienced operators who may be expected to operate a roller while performing their daily duties in the working environment.
The course encompasses the use of several types of rollers, including vibratory rollers, pneumatic rollers, rubber wheeled rollers and smooth wheeled vibratory rollers.
Learners who achieve the course objectives will, upon completion, be able to demonstrate knowledge of the functions of a roller, plan for work activities and prepare the work area, start and shut down the roller and operate and transport the roller to and from the work site
