SCAFFOLDING TRAINING
This scaffolding training course consists of both safe erection and inspection of scaffolding in compliance with the South African National Standards (SANS) 10085.
The unit standards serve, in conjunction with related unit standards to enable the learner to perform as a scaffold inspector and/or eringector depending on chosen direction.
Topics discussed involve design, compliance and roles and responsibilities of both scaffolding inspectors and erectors. The topic is thus divided into two main courses: scaffolding erection and scaffolding inspection each consisting of a separate set of modules.
